Apprenticeship
Level Tests.

Apprenticeship level tests are a series of tests that a Panel Beater and Spray Painter have to complete to qualify as artisans in their respected fields . This course requires a applicant to be registered with merSETA through the Autobody repairer that they are employed by . merSETA funds the autobody repairer to train and qualify their apprentices.

Level 1

Applicant must be a registered apprentice with merSETA for at least 6 months  before coming to complete their level 1 test.

Level 2

Applicant must work for 6 months after passing level 1 before completing level 2.

Level 1

Applicant must be a registered apprentice with merSETA for at least 8 months  before coming to complete their level 1 test.

Level 2

Applicant must work for 8 months after passing level 1 before completing level 2.

Level 3

Applicant must work for 6 months after passing level 2 before completing level 3.

Level 3

Applicant must work for 8 months after passing level 2 before completing level 3.

Level 4

Applicant must work for 6 months after passing level 3 before completing level 4.
